[EVE Energy Expands Production Capacity] On September 9, EVE Energy announced the prospectus (revised draft) for issuing convertible corporate bonds to unspecified objects, with a total issuance amount of 5 billion yuan for this convertible bond. Among them, 3.1 billion yuan will be invested in the 23GWh cylindrical lithium iron phosphate energy storage power battery project, and 1.9 billion yuan will be invested in the 21GWh large cylindrical passenger vehicle power battery project. EVE Energy's main business includes three segments: power batteries, energy storage batteries, and consumer batteries. During the reporting period, the company achieved a total operating income of 21.659 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.73%; the net profit was 2.137 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.64%. However, the net profit after deducting non-recurring profits and losses achieved a year-on-year increase of 19.32%.

Lithium Carbonate Price Rebound Drives Upturn in Lithium Iron Phosphate Absolute Prices, Market Witnesses Sporadic High-Price Spot Deals

This week, the price of lithium iron phosphate ranged from 32,000 to 33,100 yuan per ton, with an average price of 32,550 yuan per ton, a decrease of 50 yuan from last week.

The price of lithium iron phosphate remained largely stable this week compared to last week. The main reason is that the price of lithium carbonate experienced a small rebound for several consecutive days this week, driving up the price of lithium iron phosphate. However, the processing fee for lithium iron phosphate remained low, making it difficult for the price of lithium iron phosphate to rebound significantly. Due to the different downstream customer groups, the feedback on demand increments in the power and energy storage sectors will vary among lithium iron phosphate enterprises. Overall, demand continued to improve in September, and some phased projects may continue in October.

[Nippon Shokubai: Up to 37.5 Billion Yen Invested in New Lithium Battery Electrolyte Factory] Nippon Shokubai recently released a press release announcing the construction of a new lithium battery material factory in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The new factory will produce electrolytes with a maximum investment of 37.5 billion yen, and it has been included in the list of subsidy recipients published by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry on September 6th, receiving a subsidy of up to 12.5 billion yen. Upon completion, the annual production capacity of LiFSI at this new factory will reach 3,000 tons, equivalent to the demand of 210,000 electric vehicles. Japanese media pointed out that after the new factory is put into operation, Nippon Shokubai's domestic production capacity of electrolytes in Japan will expand to 10 times the current level.
