In June this year, Sanfu New Technology disclosed externally that it had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a European semi-solid-state battery manufacturer. After the customer successfully establishes the first set of semi-solid-state high-safety battery production lines, a formal supply contract for "key materials for 5Gwh semi-solid-state high-safety batteries" will be signed. [First Car Rolls Off Production Line at BYD's Brazil Factory] BYD held a ceremony to mark the roll-off of the first car from its passenger vehicle factory in Camacari, Bahia, Brazil. The BYD passenger vehicle factory in Brazil is located in Camacari, within the Salvador metropolitan area. In July 2023, BYD announced plans to build a large production site complex consisting of three factories here, with a total investment of 5.5 billion reais (approximately RMB 7.1 billion). As the sole anode material producer in Korea, POSCO Future M Co. has been operating a demonstration plant for silicon-based anodes since May last year. The storage capacity of these anodes is five times higher than that of its graphite anodes, and the company plans to commence mass production in 2027.
POSCO has also developed a low-expansion, fast charging natural graphite anode material, improving the material structure from flaky to isotropic to enhance lithium ion movement speed and reduce volume expansion. POSCO plans to commence mass production of this natural graphite anode product from 2027, which is claimed to reduce charging time by 30% compared to existing anode materials.

[Trial Production of Project with Annual Output of 12,000 mt of Silicon-Based Anode Materials]
On June 26, Shanghai PTL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. commenced trial production for its project with an annual output capacity of 12,000 mt of silicon-based anode materials. The total investment for this project is RMB 3 billion, with a planned construction land area of approximately 151 mu. The project is located to the east of Baoshun Road and north of Dongliang Road in Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project will involve the construction of 12 new buildings, including office and R&D buildings, production workshops, product warehouses, and dormitories, with a total construction area of 48,500 m². Additionally, 210 sets of various production equipment will be newly purchased. The project will achieve an annual production scale of 10,000 mt of silicon carbon anode materials and 2,100 mt of silicon oxide anode materials.
Construction of this phase of the project commenced in April 2024, with the factory building completed and capped in December 2024. Equipment installation and commissioning began in February 2025. Currently, the equipment for the first phase has been commissioned and trial production has commenced. It is expected that the project will officially commence production in August 2025.

PTL's silicon-based anode project trial production launched

As of month-end May, the cumulative installed power generation capacity nationwide reached 3.61 billion kW, up 18.8% YoY. Among this, the installed capacity of solar power generation was 1.08 billion kW, up 56.9% YoY, and the installed capacity of wind power was 570 million kW, up 23.1% YoY.

From January to May, the cumulative average utilization hours of power generation equipment nationwide were 1,249 hours, a decrease of 132 hours compared to the same period last year. The investment completed in power supply projects by major power generation enterprises nationwide was 257.8 billion yuan, up 0.4% YoY, and the investment completed in power grid projects was 204 billion yuan, up 19.8% YoY.

EVE invests 8.6 billion in Malaysia to build an ESS project

Recently, according to SEMCORP, in order to accelerate the industrialisation of sulphide solid-state electrolyte materials and improve the strategic layout of core materials for solid-state batteries, Yuxi Enjie Advanced New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hunan Enjie Advanced New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. under SEMCORP, was officially established in Yuxi, Yunnan Province. Yuxi Enjie Advanced New Materials will become the key implementing entity and strategic pivot for SEMCORP's large-scale production of sulphide solid-state electrolyte materials. Its core mission is to advance the pilot production line project for sulphide solid-state electrolyte materials with an annual output of 1,000 mt, which was signed with the Management Committee of Yuxi High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The project has a total investment of 250 million yuan and aims to create a leading domestic pilot production and industrialisation platform for sulphide solid-state electrolyte materials.

Currently, its related products have been matched with the supply of five top-tier battery enterprises. According to the introduction, Jiayuan Technology's copper foil products for solid-state batteries can be used not only in new energy vehicles but also in low-altitude economy scenarios. For example, solid-state batteries using its high-temperature-resistant copper foil have been installed on eVTOLs (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft) released by top-tier producers for testing.

If it subsequently meets the information disclosure requirements, the company will disclose it in accordance with relevant regulations through announcements or periodic reports.
